Sir Andy Murray will be third on Center Court today after Djokovic and Emma Radukanu.
And now it has been confirmed that he will be joining the Avengers of Europe in September at the star-packed Laver Cup in London.
The two-time Wimbledon winner, 35, will play alongside Bjorn Borg’s Team Europe returnees Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal.
Tennis legend John McEnroe’s team will take on World, which already includes Felix Auger-Aliassim and Diego Schwartzman, at the O2 Arena.
Injured Federer – who hasn’t played since losing the 2021 Wimbledon quarterfinals – could not contain his enthusiasm, tweeting: “Europe Avengers montage.”
Named after Australian icon Rod Laver, the three-day event in North Greenwich takes on six European players from the rest of the world.
Scottish star Murray said: “I love playing as part of a team and there’s a great atmosphere and intensity to the event.
“I’ve heard a lot of good things and I’m excited to team up with both Roger and Rafa for Team Europe.”
