Across the country, a well-liked cheese product has been recalled.
Yesterday, July 7, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) announced the recall.
Due to the possibility of mold, the product has been recalled.
Roma Formaggio Da Pasta, a hard cheese used for sprinkling on top of pasta dishes, is the item in question. 80g make up the damaged batch.
The cheese's best before date is 05/05/2023, and the Netherlands is where it was produced.
Products from Roma are offered in supermarkets around the country, including Dunnes Stores, Tesco, Supervalu, and others.
"Valeo Foods is recalling the above batch of Roma Formaggio Da Pasta due to the suspected presence of mould," the FSAI stated in a statement.
In stores that receive the involved batch, recall warnings will be posted at the point of sale.
