CASH IN 4th stimulus check update 2022 — Thousands of Americans to get $1,700 direct payments this week – exact date revealed

Through mid-July, thousands of taxpayers will receive payments totaling up to $1,700.

According to Governor Janet Mill's office, the state of Maine has begun delivering rebate checks to households, with an estimated 200,000 tax rebate payments going out each week over the next few weeks.

Individual tax refunds are around $850, and average family refunds are worth $1,700.

An individual's income cannot be more than $100,000 in order to be eligible to receive the checks.

Couples can earn up to $200,000, while household heads can earn up to $150,000. Tax returns from 2021 will be used to determine eligibility.

According to Gov. Mill's office, "Maine residents who have already submitted their 2021 Maine tax return are likely to get their check by mid-July."

A tax rebate is available to almost 858,000 people in Maine, and they can check their refund status using this tool.

Residents who qualify will get a one-time homeowner tax rebate credit (HTRC) in the amount of up to $1,050.
