Chelsea are battling with Barcelona’s 11th hour attempt to sign Rafinha.

Blues boss Todd Boehly saw he had acquired a Brazil winger after agreeing to a £55 million deal with Leeds.

But after taking interest from rivals Arsenal, Boelli is now in danger of losing to Barcelona.

Rafinha’s agent Deco, who plays for both Barca and Chelsea, was seen on Wednesday at the Spanish giants’ offices in a last-ditch attempt to make a move.

Rafinha, 25, always had her heart set on going to the Nu Camp.

But the cash-strapped Catalan needs to raise funds to meet Financial Fair Play rules and sign their No. 1 target, Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski.

Elsewhere, Man City will ask rivals Chelsea to forget about re-signing centre-back Nathan Acke on the cheap this summer.

Thomas Tuchel is targeting the Dutch international as he looks to rebuild his defense at Stamford Bridge for the new season.

However, the champions have no plans to sell the former Bournemouth defender who joined him only two years ago in a £40million deal.

AK was in Chelsea’s books for five years, but played only a few games in a blue shirt, being regularly loaned to the likes of Reading and Watford.

Newcastle made an approach for him earlier this summer, with the 27-year-old costing him around £50m.

And it’s believed that it would take at least that kind of money to convince Citi to sell the AK to one of its bigger rivals.
