That’s all from Frankfurt
The bubble has burst. The dream is dead.
West Ham United have come to a disappointing end at the last hurdle after being beaten 3-1 on aggregate by Eintracht Frankfurt in the memorable Europa League Cup semi-final.
In Germany the Hammers arrived to win, but that difficult task was made nearly impossible by Aaron Cresswell’s opening red card.
The Londoners finished by the end, but not enough to outshine their Bundesliga opponents, and were instead left to regret what might have happened.
This, as it turns out, is a place in the final against Glasgow Rangers which will take place on May 18 in the Spanish city of Seville.
And while West Ham won’t be there, we have to make sure you don’t miss a single kick of action.
Until then, thanks for joining us, and goodnight.
